As a child Lamiya (Miya) was a competitive baker, and has been baking since she was 7 years old. With a belief that the body knows what it needs nutritionally, she gravitated away from refined sugar, dairy, and gluten.
At some point she realized the cakes she was baking for loved ones were not ones she’d eat herself, and the options for fresh, gluten-free, high end baked goods were limited.
Miya started focusing on using the best quality, seasonal, and local ingredients to create delicious baked goods. Beautifully simple treats with a natural, modern, minimal aesthetic.
All Miya products are made with six ingredients or less; have no gums, fillers or preservatives; and do not contain anything you can’t pronounce.
